Learne Durrington

Learne has held senior executive and CEO roles, currently as the CEO of Perth Central and East Medicare Local, and previously, amongst other roles, the Executive Director of South Australia's Public Mental Health Service. In this role Learne led a major strategy and change management program to integrate separate acute and community entities into a unified, contemporary organisation.

Learne has extensive experience working in senior executive/CEO roles in the Government and not-for-profit social enterprises with particular talents around strategy development and execution and in undertaking large change management programs for complex organisations with multiple stakeholders. Learne’s industry expertise is in aged care, health, mental health, child protection and disability services. Additionally she has provided consulting services including Strategy Development & Execution; Change Management; Project Management; Planning Studies and Business Case Development; Business specifications for IT systems; Policy Analysis and Advice.

Learne holds a First Class Honors Degree in Social Work (University of Queensland) and a Masters of Public Policy and Management (Exec) (Mt Eliza Business School and Monash University). Learne is also a Fellow of Australian Institute of Management and the Australian College of Health Service Executives.
