As the hospital’s next CEO, you will play an important role in continuing to grow and develop services to meet community needs, while leading a dedicated team operating within a supportive, values-based culture. Reporting to the Executive Director Eastern Hospitals, this position is a member of the SJGHC Eastern Hospitals Leadership Team.  With overall strategic and operational management responsibility for the St John of God Warrnambool  Hospital, you will also play a key role in promoting its profile within the medical and local community.

With strong relationship management and communication skills, the successful candidate will provide:
• A solid personal commitment to the Vision, Mission and Values of SJGHC and ability to model and articulate these through their leadership.
• Experience managing and leading  complex  health organisations that are growing and changing
• Well-developed skills in planning, financial management and implementing new initiatives
• An ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders with a shared commitment to excellence in patient care and service to the community

Your leadership style is inclusive and aligns with SJGHC’s Vision, Mission and Values of Hospitality, Compassion, Respect, Justice and Excellence. Relevant qualifications in management or health management are essential. Experience within the Catholic and/or Private health system at a senior level is highly desirable.
