The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is a specialist medical college whose core activities involve the development, implementation and co-ordination of education, training and recertification programs for specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand, as well as other medical practitioners and health professionals involved in women’s healthcare.

The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to provide leadership and management of the College’s Department of Women’s Health, which includes responsibility for the College’s Continuing Professional Development and Quality Improvement programs.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with staff and key College members, the successful applicant will be involved in the overall management of the core women’s health and CPD activities of the College.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with the necessary skill set to make a major contribution to the activities of the College.  Responsibilities include: providing effective, identification, development and delivery of strategic priorities relating to CPD programs and women’s health programs including the management of the: Fetal Surveillance Education Program, Colposcopy Quality Program, Nuchal Translucency On-line Learning Program, and the Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound, Education and Monitoring Program. Operationally the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the work of the Women’s Health Committee, the CPD Committee and other umbrella committees and ensuring that all activities are well supported.

The role will ideally suit a dynamic, hands-on, results oriented person who has the capacity to implement initiatives at a conceptual and operational level.  A competitive and attractive remuneration package based on an initial fixed term arrangement of three years will be available to the successful applicant.
