The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) is an internationally recognised professional membership organisation representing the medical profession of over 13,500 physicians and paediatricians in Australia and New Zealand.

The RACP has a responsibility for the training and assessment of doctors who have completed their medical degree and an internship and wish to practice as physicians or paediatricians by undergoing further training through RACP.

As Senior Executive Officer you will report to the Director of Fellowship Relations. You will have a strong focus on support operations and administration of Faculty Council, providing support to Council members, through formulating policies and planning recommendations, ensuring the Council has sufficient up-to-date information; and to oversee all operations of the Faculty in relation to its educational programs, products and services; and to manage the financial resources and staff of the faculty.

To be the successful candidate you will possess high level communication, management, business skills as well as outstanding organisational and political acumen. You will have the skills to engage and offer advice on policy and advocacy and related areas appropriate to the college.

A demonstrated track record in leading and managing staff in the wider public sector is highly desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications are expected.
