The Flinders University of South Australia holds the annual Chalmers Oration. This year, Dr John Deeble - a lifetime member of the Australian Healthcare & Hospitals Association - presented the oration on 23 July 2009. The topic of his oration was Le plus ca change: recollections of a retiring health economist.
