The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) would like to congratulate the 2023 Award winners.
Presenting the Awards AHHA Board Chair Jillian Skinner acknowledged, ‘There is so much work across Australia directed at improving the care that people receive, and we feel very privileged to be able to share some of it through our VBHC Awards Program. The recipients of the awards were stand outs in demonstrating that critical feature of VBHC – that is, the outcomes that matter to people and communities.’
AHHA Chief Executive Kylie Woolcock highlighted the growth in the adoption of VBHC approaches in Australia stating, ‘The breadth and depth of applications we have seen this year have been outstanding. VBHC provides a framework for bringing all parts of the healthcare system together to focus on the outcomes that matter to people and communities, and we are thrilled to see its increasing adoption in Australia. I would like to congratulate our 2023 winners and we look forward to showcasing the learnings from these leading VBHC projects in the coming months.’
In the lead-up to the Congress the health sector was also encouraged to vote for their favourite virtual poster in the People’s Choice Poster Prize.
