As the pandemic evolves, hospitals are relying on virtual care solutions to assist in managing patient surges. In this webinar, Director of Emergency Services at Eastern Health, Dr Peter Jordan will share Eastern Health's experiences of implementing telehealth innovations during the pandemic.

Dr Peter Jordan

Dr Peter Jordan is the Director of Emergency Services at Eastern Health, one of Melbourne's largest metropolitan public health services.

Dr Jordan commenced his career in emergency medicine at ACT Health, subsequently moving to International SOS where he was a practicing physician in Jakarta before moving to the role of Director of Global Emergency Medicine in Moscow, Russia. Upon returning to Australia, Dr Jordan worked for a number of large medical and healthcare institutions including the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, Barwon Health, and Northern Health, before stepping into the role of Director of Emergency Services at Eastern Health. An innovative thought leader in the application of digital healthcare in the emergency department, Dr Peter Jordan is passionate about lifting patient care and experience whilst delivering transformative healthcare in Australia.

Assoc. Professor Richard Paoloni

Associate Professor Paoloni is the Chief Medical Advisor for My Emergency Doctor, coordinating the activities of the FACEMs employed by the company. He is an experience senior emergency physician, Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and an Associate Professor with the University of Sydney. He was also Chair of the ACEM Workforce Subcommittee for eight year and a member of the ACEM Standards Committee. His previous roles include the NSW Faculty Chair of ACEM and Director of Emergency Medicine at Concord Hospital (NSW).
