Collaboration, Complexity & Capability

Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Venue: Victorian Healthcare Association, Level 6, 136 Exhibition Street
Date: 20 November 2017 10:00am to 20 November 2017 02:30pm

Is your organisation looking to solve complex challenges through a collaborative approach? The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association and the Victorian Healthcare Association are pleased to present a workshop designed to build the skills of your team in working with others to find solutions in complex situations.

"A collaborative approach to Commissioning has been an integral step in our partnership with our key stakeholders to co-design health solutions for our community.  The workshops assisted our team members in considering the nature of the activity, and ensuring a strong and shared understanding of the “ dilemma”, and a considered approach to the engagement."

Shari Tanzer, Executive Manager Operations Northern Territory PHN

At the end of this workshop participants will be able to identify complex situations and determine when to use a collaborative approach to find solutions to their challenges. They know what collaboration looks like and what it takes to work with others to find solutions to complex challenges. They understand the role of uncertainty and experimentation in the complex realm, and how to support the team to think and act differently in the face of complexity.
