About the Role

The Health Systems Improvement Officer is a part of the dynamic Service Support team with the key duties of implementing health systems improvement initiatives and maintaining stakeholder engagement to build and support primary healthcare services across the region. You will primarily be responsible for supporting general practice staff in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Quality Improvement in Primary Care program (QIPC) by implementing Quality Improvement activities, delivering education, performing data extraction and supporting goal setting.

About You

The successful applicant will meet the following selection criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health
  2. Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring and/or evaluation
  3. Experience working in the primary healthcare industry with various health professionals
  4. Understanding of quality improvement principles and their implementation
  5. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  6. Current NSW driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle

Desirable Criteria:

  • Master of Public Health / Master of International Public Health
  • Awareness of change management principles and techniques
