About Us
South Western Sydney PHN (SWSPHN) is a not-for-profit health organisation dedicated to supporting general practitioners, practice nurses and other primary health providers to deliver the best possible care for their patients and improve access to quality local health care for the whole community.
Servicing seven local government areas of Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden Wollondilly and Wingecarribee, SWSPHN is one of 31 primary health networks across Australia aiming to further improve the efficiency, effectiveness and coordination of health services.

About the role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a part of the executive management team. As part of this team, your objectives will include:
• Leading the implementation of effective clinical governance systems and processes.
• Providing leadership and support in the implementation of integrated health care activity which enable person centred continuity of care systems to effectively link primary and acute health providers.
You will also oversee the performance of senior manager direct reports and provide support, mentoring and leadership.
Your main focus areas will be:
• Leading improvements in primary care capacity, through system supports, clinical quality improvement and health literacy initiatives.
• Oversight of stakeholder engagement, that includes communications and marketing strategies
• Implementation of major innovations, including ICT Interoperability and Digital Health projects

About you
• Strong understanding of the Australian primary health care environment
• Capacity to build, develop and sustain positive partnerships and productive working relationships with all levels of stakeholders
• Demonstrated strategic leadership to implement system change at macro and micro levels
