Digital Marketing

  • Support the Media and Communications Coordinator to implement the digital media communications strategy across digital platforms including social media and website.
  • Maintain and improve the organisation’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, to deliver a professional and relevant message to stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of innovative and appealing communications collateral including: flyers, videos, web content.
  • Implement targeted promotional campaigns and programs to increase engagement and build a following on social media utilising available analytic tools and digital editing software.
  • Support the Media and Communications Coordinator to maintain and improve content on the WNSW PHN website utilising a Content Management System.

Consumer and Community Engagement

  • Develop innovative and creative solutions to further engage with consumers on important health messages using digital and other communication methods.
  • Support ongoing needs assessment activities to deepen engagement with community and consumers to understand health needs and service gaps.
  • Implement new online community engagement platforms as needed.

Managing Stakeholder Data

  • Lead the organisation in best-practice management and use of stakeholder data.
  • Take ownership the CRM database as the Data Steward and ensure core data is complete, accurate and purposeful to meets the organisations business needs.
  • Take initiative to improve the use of the organisation’s CRM database, including data quality management, analysis, and reporting to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist others across the organisation with support and training to improve their use of the CRM.
  • Support and promote compliance with the organisation’s Data Governance and Privacy Policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the Data Custodian and communicate CRM database technical and administrative requirements.

Stakeholder Events

  • Lead the coordination of WNSW PHN’s corporate events including stakeholder engagement activities, Community forums, Annual General Meeting and other events. Tasks include organising speakers, logistics, registrations, promotion, evaluation and other activities as needed.
  • Work in collaboration with the Workforce and Education team to ensure all activities are delivered in a consistent standard across the organisation. 
  • Provide support to the Workforce and Education Team to coordinate events as required.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Certificate level qualifications in communications, marketing, digital media or equivalent industry experience.
  • Relevant experience managing digital communications platforms and delivering social media campaigns.
  • Previous experience in coordinating and managing corporate events.
  • Experience creating digital marketing content.
  • Relevant experience in advanced level CRM database use and reporting.
  • Experience with community engagement programs or community messaging campaigns.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High level attention to detail and time management skills including the ability to prioritise, plan, organise and manage competing demands.
  • Initiative, flexibility, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the WHAL Cultural Safety Framework

Desirable

  • Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders and maintaining customer relationship activities and community engagement.
  • Experience writing for the health sector.
  • Experience with technologies such as a website Content Management System, Adobe creative suite and Google/Facebook web traffic analytics
