Job description:

Your purpose: As Quality & Safety Manager for MSI Australia, your key function is to coordinate our quality and safety functions across the organisation. You will provide the Head of Risk & Safety, DON and leadership teams with support and advice in relation to quality and accreditation requirements. You will have a strong focus on incident management to inform risk throughout the organisation with skills in data analysis and report writing. You will be responsible for the organisation's client feedback management. To support better client outcomes, you will assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of safety initiatives to drive a Safety First culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ensuring Quality, Safety and Risk Principles are integrated into the day-to-day operations and all facets of service delivery
  • Manage the organisation’s client feedback management processes, systems and responses
  • Ensure quality activities and processes support successful accreditation requirements
  • Work across all levels of the organisation to identify, recommend and monitor outcomes of improvements to current processes, quality of care and service delivery
  • Coordinate, design and deliver improvement activity resources and communications to the organisation
  • Integrate best practice processes & systems into quality improvement programs
  • Coordinate quality plans and reporting to appropriate committees and external bodies
  • Participate in the organisational audit framework, external benchmarking and reporting requirements
  • Administration and daily function of the incident management system
  • Participate in the review and management of clinical risk and patient safety
