Job Description:

Can you capture, analyse and interpret data to aid in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of health services in our region?

This position is full-time and is funded for a 12 month period. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding. 

Skills and Experience:

You will have tertiary qualifications in the areas of health, computer science, health informatics, information technology or a similar field.  You will have experience and knowledge in areas such as report writing, data analysis and data management across multiple systems. Additional experience in reporting packages, data bases, programming, data visualisation tools and using statistical packages for analysing large datasets is highly desirable.

You will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention with high accuracy.  In addition demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to set priorities, plan and act to achieve desired outcomes, complimented by highly developed interpersonal and communications skills is essential.
