HardyGroup International is partnering with NT Health to appoint to the newly created position of Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery, Top End Health Service, based in Darwin. This role will be responsible for leading the Nursing and Midwifery Services within the Royal Darwin Hospital and providing professional leadership throughout the Top End Health Service. As Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery you are directly accountable to the General Manager Darwin Hospital. You will be responsible for the establishment, implementation and monitoring of Nursing and Midwifery standards across the Top End Health Services (TEHS). Accountabilities include the management of professional issues, proactive review of management systems, contributing to the leadership and delivery of the core business of the Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH) and providing leadership and direction in strategic workforce planning activities. Fostering an environment of collaboration and participation in Northern Territory wide activities (such as whole of Territory workforce planning, governance, safety and quality), will be critical to your success in this position.

To be the successful candidate you will demonstrate the highest levels of expertise required by the selection criteria, possess strategic leadership capabilities and successful operational management experience. You will have a reputation for:

-         professional experience at a senior level in health;
