We are seeking mental health clinicians to engage, assess and provide therapeutic intervention for people eligible for services under our Strong Minds program.

These roles can be filled on a full or part time basis. We are also open to discussing employment under a mixed model of Strong Minds and fee for service for those able to provide services under MBS. 

We have a number of vacancies across the Murrumbidgee region, with particular need in Wagga and Surrounds, Young, Narrandera, Deniliquin and Griffith.

Essential

  • Relevant qualifications and registration/accreditation (e.g., psychologist [provisional, registered or clinical]; or mental health accredited social worker, Aboriginal mental health worker, occupational therapist, or credentialed mental health nurse).
  • Experience in the delivery of a range of evidence based treatments relevant to working with people with a mental illness (particularly behavioural and CBT intervention).
  • Ability to use a clinical software package for electronic client records.

Desirable

  • Experience in working with children in a mental health setting.
  • Experience in working with Aboriginal people in a mental health setting.
  • Experience in working with people at risk of suicide.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision in mental health.
