Program Development Officer - Domestic Violence Integration

The Program Development Officer for Domestic and Family Violence Integration will be responsible for leading and delivering the key objectives of the Domestic Family Violence Pilot Project. This role will be responsible for mapping domestic and family violence services in our region, developing referral pathways and increasing awareness in the primary care setting. 


  • Relevant tertiary qualification and or equivalent experience in the field of Health, Program Management, Welfare or Community Services.
  • Demonstrated experience in the domestic family violence sector with a robust understanding of services, referral pathways and key stakeholders.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral, and engagement skills to achieve collaboration and partnerships.
  • Proven ability to design, develop and implement program outcomes utilising project management skills, considering risks and mitigation requirements for the project.
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver training in the primary care sector with facilitation experience or ability to manage public speaking effectively.
  • Proven ability to utilise information technology tools in-particular the Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level, customer relations databases, email and internet.


  • Demonstrated experience or knowledge of commissioning of services, and or the development of contracts including the management of contractual relationships with commissioned service providers.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the primary health care setting within the Australian context.
