Program Manager

In this role you will work with a small vibrant team working collectively across four core pillars of activity: Research, Policy, Advocacy and Practice. 

The Program Manager will help support providers with service design and practice change initiatives. You will provide the opportunity to build the capacity and capability of health services to develop high performing person-centred care. You will help implement Value Based Health Care approaches across primary and acute health, aged and disability care settings nationally.


  • Work to establish and maintain industry level engagements in program reforms, evaluation, and improvement activities.
  • Assist with project design and costings
  • Develop and manage project plans
  • Provide support to project teams including project staff, contractors, and consultants
  • Monitor & report risk assessment and risk management activities for projects
  • Contribute to future project development as required
  • Development and management of clinical redesign workshops and seminars
  • Any other duties as directed by the Chief Executive

Skills and experience required:

  • Knowledge of the broader Australian Health System
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative, decision making ability
  • Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience in change management / quality improvement
  • Qualifications/Experience in health service delivery; clinician experience highly desirable.
