About the Role

The Research and Evaluation Coordinator role is part of the dynamic Commissioning team and their duties are key in monitoring and evaluating commissioned services and contributing to research activities. The role will be responsible for:

  • Developing evaluation and monitoring approaches for commissioned services focussing on improvement of health outcomes
  • Management of commission service data
  • Developing and communicating data and reports internally and externally using business intelligence
  • Building monitoring and evaluation capacity within the organisation

The role provides an opportunity for the successful applicant to support the improvement of health outcomes for people of SWS through data analytics and evidence-based evaluation methodology.

About You

The successful applicant will meet the following selection criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. health, social science).
  2. Demonstrated experience working in research, program evaluation, data analytics and/or performance monitoring.
  3. Proven ability to apply program logic.
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing complex datasets and proficient data analysis skills. Applicants with proficiency in statistical software (STATA, R or similar), business intelligence tools (such as Qlik Sense or similar), and/or other packages (QGIS, Python) will be looked favourably.
  5. Ability to build, develop and sustain positive partnerships and productive working relationships with all levels of stakeholders
  6. Current NSW driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.

Salary: $78,000 - $88,000 pa (plus super and tax-free salary packing options)
