The webinar is a facilitated online workshop which provides opportunities to explore scenarios around the best practice guidelines for a palliative approach for aged care in the community setting (COMPAC Guidelines). The free workshop is fully funded by the Department of Health and available to anyone with a broadband compute connection and a telephone.

The presenter is Dr Clare Fenwick, a clinical nurse and academic who has worked and lectured extensively in community and acute palliative care.

Health care profesionals providing palliative care to older people in the community, palliative care volunteers, students and all with an interest in palliative care are particularly welcome to attend. The webinar is designed to familiarise participants with the COMPAC guidelines and provide the tools for participants to translate the guidelines into their own settings.

How to join a webinar: Registered participants will receive emailed instructions with the meeting URL and instructions in the weeks before the webinar date. Webinars will be offered on several dates, but it is only necessary to attend one.
