Have your say about palliative care training

The AHHA is conducting a research project into the factors that help and hinder evidence-based palliative care in Australia.

The results will gather critical industry input into the delivery of skills training and best-practice to support the frontline worker role, and identify quality improvement opportunities.

Participation in the study is open to new users of the Palliative Care Online Training and Information Portal who are intending to complete the modules based on the Guidelines for a Palliative Approach to Aged Care in the Community, known as the COMPAC modules.

If you are interested in completing these four fully online, free training modules in palliative care, which take around 6  hours to complete, you are invited to participate in the study, which will involve the completion of a short survey at the completion of the training and again at three, six and nine months after this. To be eligible to participate, you must register for the research study before commencing the training.

Click here to register for the study, or visit www.palliativecareonline.com.au to access the training modules or find further information.

Your participation will help plan future health initiatives and progress local and national knowledge of best practice and provide clarification on strategies that optimise and sustain evidence-based palliative care.
