Professor Rachel Davey is the Foundation Director of the Health Research Institute at the University of Canberra. Rachel has over 25 years of research experience in areas related to health promotion, programme design, implementation and service delivery for the prevention of chronic diseases. Rachel has experience working across the health care system both in the UK and in Australia. She formerly worked at the Medical Care Research Unit at Sheffield University. UK which focuses on health services research, and with advisory roles to the National Institute of Health & Clinical Excellence (NICE) in England. She has published more than a hundred and fifty peer-reviewed journal papers.
