Suzzie is the Director, Business Development at the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA). Appointed in June 2022, Suzzie brings with her a diverse background spanning business, marketing, health and service design. She has worked with the PHN with a specific focus on Primary Care, developing and implementing training programs and care models for Person-Centred and team-based care as well as supporting the growth and adoption of digital health solutions. In aged care she has developed stakeholder relationships across the health system and designed a new model of digitally enabled integrated in-home health and aged care testing alternate funding options. She is well versed with the Australian hospital system working as a paediatric pharmacist with the QLD Children’s Hospital.
Suzzie has completed a Bachelors Degree in Business and Pharmacy, enabling her to develop a deep cross-section of knowledge and experience in the health and business sectors over the past 15 years. She has specialist skills in designing, evaluating and implementing value-based health services that leverage digital enablement and improve system integration. Essential to her success in this space is her ability to develop strong relationships, understand and manage operational components of business, manage projects/programs and lead high performing teams. She places a strong focus on person-centric, outcomes-based results that drive system improvement, enablement and policy change. Suzzie is based in Brisbane.
