Tony Farley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association Ltd (Administrators Appointed), bringing over 25 years of leadership experience across health, education, government, and industrial relations. He is committed to building a high-performing, equitable, and sustainable health system through collaboration, evidence-based policy, and Value-Based Health Care.

Prior to joining AHHA, Tony served as Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools, overseeing a $1.4 billion budget and leading a network of 147 schools educating over 70,000 students. His tenure delivered record enrolment growth, improved academic outcomes, and major system-wide reforms, including the creation of a system-wide orchestral programme where 35,000 students now learn an instrument and the implementation of a unified enterprise system across all schools. These achievements reflect his commitment to transparency, innovation, and inclusive leadership.

Tony’s career also includes senior roles at NSW Health and in employment relations, where he specialised in negotiation, policy development, and cooperative change. With a strong personal connection to healthcare and a belief in lifelong learning, Tony continues to lead with purpose and vision in advancing Australia’s health system.
