Emma is the Manager of the Australian Centre for Value-Based Health Care at the Australian Healthcare and Hospital Association (AHHA), where she specialises in supporting the development and implementation of Value-Based Health Care across Australia to improve the outcomes that matter to people and communities.
Emma holds a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University (ANU), and a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Health Science degree majoring is history and public health. She is interested in the complexity that underpins system reform and understanding the barriers and enablers to driving community led solutions.
Emma has a worked in a variety of policy and advocacy roles across the health systems with her interest’s spanning climate and health, women’s health, education, rural health, and system reform. She has extensive skills in policy theory and analysis, research, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Her background working across a broad range of health issues across Australian and internationally have instilled her with a varied and unique perspective, vision and adaptability which she brings to her role at AHHA.
