Institutional racism audit of Local Health Networks in South Australia

Institutional racism audit of Local Health Networks in South Australia

1 July 2020

The Health Performance Council (HPC) provides advice to the South Australian Health Minister about the operation of the health system, health outcomes for
South Australians and the effectiveness of methods used within the health system to improve health outcomes. In 2019, HPC commissioned AHHA to develop and deliver a prototype tool for measuring institutional racism in the South Australian health system. In 2020, HPC requested validation of the prototype tool and auditing of the 10 South Australian Local Health Networks (LHNs) for institutional racism.
