July 2004, the National Oral Health Advisory committee developed the Nation’s first Oral Health Plan. Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives sought to improve the health and well-being across the Australian population by improving oral health status and reducing the burden of oral disease. Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives had a nine-year focus and in 2013 a process to review and update the plan for the next 9 years was commenced.
The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association Limited (AHHA) is Australia’s national peak body for public and not-for-profit hospitals and healthcare providers.
