Dr Deborah Cole is a pioneer of value-based health care (VBHC) in the Australian health system. As Chief Executive Officer of Dental Health Services Victoria for nine years, she led the implementation of VBHC to improve the community’s access to quality and equitable oral health.

Deb has substantial experience in managing major public healthcare organisations. She has over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles, and has held CEO positions at Calvary Health Care and Yarra City Council as well as senior executive positions at Mercy Health and St Vincent’s Health. She is currently also a Non-Executive Director of HESTA.

The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) is Australia’s national peak body for public and not-for-profit hospitals and healthcare providers.
